Trip to the vet

Today i stayed home so i could clean up the house, transfer files and do my nails XD i wanted a nice wintery cold pattern since it has started snowing some days (but too warm for it to stay on the ground and the snow quickly becomes rain 10 mins later).

i have to say the result is really much better looking in real life because the painstakingly placed glitter at the side of the nails SHINE. electric blue, not black. quite eye catching design, but my husband has failed to notice it thus far.
These are christmas scratchcards, some costing 50nkr and a bigger one 100nkr. But chances of winning something is pretty high and its really quite fun to get something to scratch everyday XD So these belong to alvin, i wll blog a pic daily for him to see his results. In the card with the flap, you need three of the same pictures to win $$. In the other card, you have to collect a particular amount of the same picture to win a specific sum of $$, AND you can match three of the same amounts in a box to win that amount. so far there is no wins, but its only day 1!
Couldnt resist taking the next picture since the other cats generally dont seem to get along with the kittens, and max is the most paranoid of them all. Right now we're living with 6 cats, 2 of them rather attention craving and 1 is my baby so she must be given daily attention. as long as i clean off their wet nose rub residues, i dont get a rash.
The highlight of today is a trip to a nearby vet, who lived in a very cool looking house with his veterinary practice being held in the basement. The tiny-pawed black cat, mother of the two fattybums, now named Flysa (meaning splinter) by robert, needed her stitches removed since she had gotten spayed earlier. She was a very slim, pretty and petite cat when i first saw her. Now she's this black thing with a huge belly but small everything else.

The drive takes maybe 15 minutes, but to get there was horrible because the person directing us on the phone kept blabbing on and on with so much details that both alex and tommy (his sweet cousin who drove us) were confused and i was starting to get carsick just by being driven up and down a road haha.

the person didnt mention driving a road downhill.

so we finally got there, walked through like 3 sections of the basement to get to the main room to get the stitches out. Flysa didnt want to get out of the cage, but she's so tiny alex could easily and gently flip her in the cage and ease her out.

so that's my hubby calming the cat as the doc outside the picture gets his tools.
And thats him snipping the stitches. if you click on the pic you get to see a bigger size, and can see how tiny Flysa blends in with alex's hoodie, but you can see her yellow green eyes.
it took 3 snips.

no cleaning, no slow surgical procedures, no other care.

just 3 snips.

i was seriously thinking i could have done it myself =.= At least we didnt have to pay for that...

The end!
